Brief description of the problem (reason for recall)
The recall follows the identification of potential foreign material contamination during an Adcock Ingram Clayville factory inspection conducted by the SAHPRA Inspectorate.
Advise for health professionals and distributors:
Retail pharmacies, wholesalers, distribution centres are requested to refrain from selling any affected batch(es) listed in Table 1 and to return these products to their supplying warehouse or distribution centre. Adcock Ingram Limited will collect the stock from wholesalers and distribution centres which will be credited on your account. Kindly retain this letter in a prominent position for one month, in case stock is still in transit.
Consumers are requested to return any impacted stock to the point of purchase for credit or stock replacement.
