Communication Regarding the Implementation of the New South African Standards for Quality Assurance in Radiotherapy (SASQART) Practice Guideline

This communication serves to notify all radiotherapy licence holders, medical physicists, and other relevant stakeholders that the new SASQART practice guideline has been implemented. The revised SASQART practice guideline seeks to establish a standardised framework for quality assurance in radiotherapy and to ensure compliance with the national regulatory requirements. This guideline supports the delivery of safe, high-quality radiotherapy services, by promoting patient safety and the consistent implementation of quality assurance practices across all radiotherapy facilities in South Africa.
