The South African Health Products Regulatory Authority (SAHPRA) invites you to a webinar on the Introduction of Import Authorisation Requirements for Health Products Importers.
As part of aligning with WHO Global Benchmarking Tool (GBT) Maturity Level 3 (ML3), the NRA will introduce a mandatory Import Authorisation System for all health product importers, with a pilot phase commencing 1 September 2026. This system aims to strengthen regulatory oversight, improve product traceability, and safeguard public health.
